Daughters of Bollywood stars seem to set the ball rolling. Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor’s daughter has already made her debut and she is on the roll.
Next in the pipeline is Narmada Ahuja, Govinda’s daughter who has long desire to become an actress. Due to numerology, she changed her name to Narmmadaa.

When Narmmadaa interacted with the media she seemed to be very spunky and full of enthusiasm. She claimed that acting is in her genes. She also mentioned, “I was waiting for this moment for so long. I’ve always wanted to become an actress and finally it has arrived.”

With all the actors’ kids brandwagon getting into action in Bollywood why should Govinda’s daughter be left far behind? Well, Narmmadaa Ahuja has decided to take the plunge and papa Govinda has been generous enough to promise her that he will launch her. If you are still wondering why Narmmadaa is spelt so, it is all with the blessings of numerology. Many will remember that she had made many a heads turn when she appeared as Salman Khan’s arm candy at the 2008 IIFA awards. In fact, there was even gossip that she was the reason behind Salman’s and Katrina’s alledged fight.

According to sources, Govinda has announced that he will make a film where he will launch his daughter. There is also news that director David Dhawan and producer Vashu Bhagwani have been roped in to make the movie. Govinda’s fans will surely remember that this duo was instrumental in giving him hits like “Hero No. 1″ and “Coolie No. 1.” There was some rumor that Sanjay Leela Bansali, of “Black” and “Devdas” fame, was the first choice for the director, however, their plans did not materialize. All the eager readers will be wondering about the actor who has been asked to play the role of the male lead, well, it is none other than Shahid Kapoor of the “Jab We Met” fame.
